It is water soluble, easy to add to the water phase at room temperature, and stable across the pH range most personal-care formulations sit in. The 98% liquid grade is the most widely traded form; a powder grade is also available on request.

01 What is the CAS number of D-Panthenol?
The CAS number for D-Panthenol is 81-13-0 and the EINECS number is 201-327-3. The INCI name is Panthenol.
02 What is the difference between D-Panthenol and DL-Panthenol?
D-Panthenol is the biologically active dextrorotatory form and is the grade used in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. DL-Panthenol is a racemic mixture of the D and L forms, so only half of it is active. Confirm which grade you need when raising an enquiry.
03 What percentage of D-Panthenol is used in shampoo?
